CanCham Thailand’s CATCH OF CANADA Seafood Extravaganza promises to highlight the best of Canadian Seafood and other quality Canadian food products, Wednesday Aug. 15, 2018 – 6:30 – 9:00 pm.
Bangkok, August 6, 2018 – On Wednesday, August 15, as part of Bangkok’s Taste of Canada food promotion event, CanCham Thailand (formerly The Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce) is hosting its annual Catch of Canada Seafood Extravaganza event at Kai Restaurant. This event provides a great opportunity to highlight Canada’s globally recognized, quality catches and produce.
A fitting partnership, Kai Restaurant which proudly uses high quality ingredients from ethically minded producers to create a variety of delectable homemade dishes (many of which are seafood and fish focussed). CanCham Thailand has worked closely with Kai Restaurant to create an authentic Canadian menu that displays the diverse range of seafood that Canada’s long coastlines and pristine waters have to offer.
Amongst the many delectable eats, this year’s menu features British Columbia lobster rolls, smoked Atlantic Mackerel, fresh Pacific shucked oysters and more. In addition to much-loved Canadian Moosehead beer, Drinkwise will supply over 5 local Canadian craft beer brands.
Gourmet desserts will include the famous Canadian Timbits, Blueberry Grunt and Vancouver Island Nanaimo Bars. CanCham Thailand has worked closely with Global Trades and Distributions to bring fresh Canadian blueberries and cherries to Bangkok for these recipes.
Catch of Canada is one of CanCham Thailand’s social and networking event, and thus is a great opportunity to meet Canadian businesses and Canadian business partners in Thailand.
