Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) is under the supervision of Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, Thailand we aim to create stronger startup ecosystem in Thailand and hoping to create an opportunity for the startups and SMEs to expand their businesses outside. In the year 2017, we hosted "Digital Thailand Big Bang 2017: Digital Transformation" which held at Impact Arena over 40,000 sqm and over 200,000 delegates. In the year 2018, we created Thailand phenomenon by bringing key startup ecosystem (community leader) from over the world as well as large private companies, government, financial institution, and research institution. Together created "Digital Thailand Big Bang: Big Data".
For this year 2019, we are honored as a country to be a chairman of ASEAN and able to co-host with ASEAN summit that 26 leaders from 26 provinces in 10 ASEAN are meeting and discuss the potential collaboration. Therefore, this year our theme will be Digital Thailand Big Bang 2019: ASEAN Connectivity that we will hold during 28 - 31 October 2019 at BITEC, Bangkok
